TERMS AND CONDITIONS - You are required to inform us prior to booking if you have any injury or illness. If any injuries or illness arise after booking you should inform the administrator of Tribe immediately.
All instructions and guidance during classes is an invitation to challenge you mentally and physically. Tribe yoga events are suitable for healthy and mentally stable persons. Tribe teachers are not to be held liable for any physical or mental problems that arise during the yoga training. All trainees are requested to be sensitive to their limitations and always stop if they experience any pain or sickness. Resting and listening to the body and mind is wiser than 'fighting on’. Trainees are expected to take responsibility for themselves and approach each yoga practice with sensitivity and awareness to what and how they are feeling mentally and physically at all times. - We recommend that all people travelling abroad have comprehensive travel, cancellation & medical insurance for the duration of the trip.
- We do not accept responsibility or liability for cancellations, delays, changes or losses caused by acts of God, war, and threat of war, closure of airports, civil strife, natural disasters, accidents or any other events beyond our control. The same applies to guests' injuries, illnesses, medical or psychiatric conditions developed during or subsequent to the holiday, as well as loss of /or damage to personal property of guests.
- Whilst it is unlikely that we shall have to make changes to bookings, scheduled teachers, the venue or other matters, we reserve the right to do so at any time. We shall inform you as early as possible in the event that this is necessary.
- If the venue accommodation becomes full we will assign you to alternative accommodation close to the venue
- At our discretion we reserve the right to give concessions and discounts. This does not automatically entitle other participants to the same concessions or discounts.
- PUNCTUALITY
In respect for the group and the teachings we request that trainees arrive in ample time before the beginning of every class. Any late arrivals may find that they are not admitted into the class. - ATTENDANCE
The Tribe trainings are recognized as 200 or 500 hour courses. All attendees are required to attend ALL classes in order to receive a certificate. Since the trainings are scheduled as intensives there is very little room for non-attendance. If study hours are reduced due to non-attendance additional study is required which will be facilitated via correspondence after the training and will be subject to an additional teaching fee of 20 euros for every hour missed. If a student has a slight illness we encourage them to attend the class and observe as it is our experience that by being present and listening many of the teachings can be still be digested. If illness is severe we request to be informed so that we can call a doctor on your behalf. - SILENCE
In all trainings there is silence from the beginning of the day to and including breakfast. We have found that the practices of silence undertaken in the mentioned hours are invaluable for everybody to assimilate and digest the mornings practice. - ALCOHOL AND DRUGS
Tribe teacher trainings are 100% alcohol, cigarette and drug free zones. Alcohol and drug are disturbing and unbeneficial influences that are have no place on Tribe trainings. We encourage and invite you to not smoke, drink or take drugs during the training so you can get the most out of yourself and the training. We recognize that for some of you such habits will be difficult to stop completely and therefore request that if you choose to indulge in any toxins that you do so beyond the parameters of the Tribe training venue. - HOMEWORK
Homework is given for you to clarify your understanding of any new information or teachings that you receive during class. We request that all students keep up to date with their homework and inform us if they have difficulties or issues with the homework they are given. - RELATING TO OTHERS
If you have any personal problem, difficulty or issue with anybody on the training (teacher or student) please talk to your support group leader or the student coordinator as soon as a problem arises. Most instances of difficulties between individuals in a group are generally a case of misunderstanding or miscommunication and can easily be dealt with. - DISCLAIMER
The training is not suitable for pregnant women or for anyone on medication for serious physical or mental conditions unless covered by a doctors note. On arrival to the training one of the things we request is that all students sign a disclaimer stating that they are fit and healthy both mentally and physically and they are prepared for intensive practices that may lead to emotional and physical releases. Ultimately we ask that each person takes responsibility for themselves. This means resting when needing to or ‘backing off’ when ones feels about to move beyond any personal limitation (physical or mental). If a trainee experiences any kind of crisis we are there to help and be supportive, however it must be recognized that we are not doctors or trained councillors. We have connections with local professionals, doctors, therapists and spiritual councillors (Indian and western) so if you need to see a professional it can be arranged - If any student is continually disruptive or fails to comply with the above terms and conditions we reserve the right to dismiss that person from the training and ask them to leave the Venue.
