Tribe Yoga Teacher Training Courses in Spain are a fabulous opportunity to fully retreat into yoga practice and study in the natural setting of the Andalucian mountains. The venue offers community living with great facilities and comfortable accommodation.
Maximum number of trainees = 15
The smaller number of trainees creates the opportunity for teachers and students to live and study closely together, sharing meals and leisure time.

VENUE
Cortijo Caseria Del Mercado is a small organic farm high in the Alpujarras mountains of Andalucia southern Spain.
In addition to the huge array of fruit and vegetables grown on site the farm has goats, horses and a peacock breeding sanctuary and the farm produces its own organic olive oil.
Not only is the cortijo a working farm it has been adapted as a retreat centre with traditional Spanish accommodation with a natural mineral water swimming pool and two yoga shalas, one indoor and one 'cool and shady' outdoor.
The local area is fantastic hiking country with spectacular mountain views and isolated “White villages”

The venues farm buildings offer various basic accommodations with a communial and family feel to suit all budgets starting from 375 Euros to 500 Euros per month.

Food
Vegetarian brunch is included in the training fee.
Purification Day
Sunday is purification day. Expect variations in the meals according to the teachings of the week. It could be a day of just fruit, a day of just brown rice or simple a day of fasting. This is optional and students can choose to join in on the purification or not.
Other Meals
There is a large communial kitchen and 3 smaller kitchens where students can prepare their own meals. We recommend a budget of 30-50 euros per week for food.
Courtesy shopping trips are available on a weekly basis to buy groceries. seasonal fruits and vegetables available from the venue.
The location
The training will be held at Cortijo Caseria de Mercado which is located in the Heart of the Alpujarras, (Andalucia) a unique natural connection between the Mediterranean coast and Sierra Nevada, towered by the highest peaks of the Peninsula. It is very close to Castaras and Trevelez, 30 minutes from Orgiva which is an area known for its clean fresh mountain air, herbal plant life, medicinal mineral waters and relaxing natural environments.
How to get there
The closest major cities include Granada, Almeria, Jaen and Malaga.
The closet airport Granada is one hour away from our venue.Cortijo is high in the mountains close to a tiny village called Castaras. The closest town is Orgiva.
From Granada you can catch a bus to Orgiva (1 hour). We can arrange to pick you up from Orgiva.
Alternatively you can hire a car from the airport.
