Pre-arrival & Payments Information for all Tribe Trainees Please read through all the info related to your Level 1 or Level 2 training
PREPARATION
Level 1 4 weeks before the training begins we invite all trainees to practice the following:
Minimum of 1 hours self practice per day. You will be sent a modified primary practice sheet to follow if you do not have your own self practice. 15 minutes meditation or 15 minutes sitting ….. this means establishing a comfortable seated position of your choice suitable for meditation and maintaining stillness for 15 minutes If you are unfamiliar with meditating a simple meditation technique is to simply find a comfortable seated position and observe your breathing.
Daily breathing sessions …. Increase your breathing capacity by doing pranayama practices or if you don't know any do some kind of cardiovascular exercise (running is good for opening the lungs!). Teaching Practice. You will be sent some basic instruction 'scripts' so you can begin to familiarise yourself with the 'language' of yoga teaching.
All trainees are requested to bring at least one morning reading to share with the group. This can last for 5 to 15 minutes and can be anything from a piece of literature, a poem, a chapter, a spiritual text etc. anything uplifting, heart opening or thought provoking!!!
Please do not worry if the training you have just been accepted on starts in less than 4 weeks. Do a daily practice and any teaching practice you can in the weeks available to you before the training begins.Level 2 Ashtanga Trainings In the weeks before the training begins we recommend that you maintain a daily practice which includes asana, pranayama and meditation. As well as the training contact hours you are required to submit 55 non-contact hours in the form of written assignments. The list of assignments will be sent to you and by email and can be completed before or after the training. Level 2 Chakra TrainingsIn the weeks before the training begins we recommend that you maintain a daily practice which includes asana, pranayama and meditation.As well as the training contact hours you are required to submit 55 non-contact hours in the form of written assignments. The list of assignments will be sent to you and by email and can be completed before or after the training. ARRIVALS All trainings begin on Sunday at 4pm with the opening ceremony & orientation. Officially you can check-in to accommodation after 12pm on the opening Sunday. It may be possible to check-in early or make a reservation to arrive some days earlier. Contact us for details.
CERTIFICATES & DEPARTURE The closing ceremony will be on the last friday of the training. Certificates are given to all trainees who sucessfullly complete the Level 1 training at the closing ceremony. Level 2 training graduates receive their certificate either at the closing cerreomny or by post depending on when the non-contact hour assignments are submitted.
TRAINING FEE Payments are generally by International Bank Transfer or on-line by Paypal. All final payments are due at least 4 weeks before the training begins. Failure to finalise your payment may result in your place being offered to someone on the waiting list.
